In keeping with the most demanding international quality standards, in 1995 Vipal was the first Brazilian company in this sector to be certified by ISO 9002. Since then, Vipal has maintained and improved its system. In 2000, the company obtained another victory, the ISO 9001 certification, in 2001 the ISO 9001 version 2000, and in 2003 the Product Performance Verification Certificate granted by INMETRO/IFBQ for its precured treads and cushion gum lines.
