With the objective of offering free professional training to tire repairmen and professionals who work with tire and tube repair throughout the country, Borrachas Vipal, one of the most important manufacturers of tube and tire repair and retread products in the world, offers a pioneer project: the Tire Repair School Truck. “Our objective is to make tire repairmen increasingly qualified in order to more efficiently carry out their daily activities, contributing towards improved tire maintenance and safety”, explains João Carlos Paludo, Executive Vice-President of Vipal.

To carry out this project, Vipal invested over half a million Reais to adapt a normal sized truck (14m x 2.8m) with a surface that, when open – thanks to the use of an elevated chassis and low profile tires –, increases its size to 60 m². In this totally air conditioned area, the vehicle contains equipment that allies theory and practice for didactic activities such as: tire mounting and dismounting machine, balancing equipment, air compressor, and other accessories used to repair tubes and tires, besides a home-theater with a DVD, multimedia projector, computer and printer.

These eight hour training courses, divided into theoretical and practical activities, increase the knowledge of tire repairmen, especially those who work as resellers of all the Vipal brands: Vipal, Tortuga and Ruzi.

Over 2,500 professionals have already been trained throughout Brazil.
