CTV Technical Center

A trained professional means a product with a double guarantee.

Aware that the final performance depends on the sum of a product’s quality plus adequate application parameters, Vipal maintains a total yearly average of 1,600 hours of training.

In 1987, Vipal inaugurated its Vicencio Paludo Technical Center (CTV), a retread school, with the objective of becoming a true center of knowledge regarding tire retreads. In this way it has been able to successfully prepare its employees technically, promote knowledge among retreaders, and test new products under real conditions of usage.

Over 3 thousand Brazilian and foreign professionals have attended the CTV. This success gave birth to new units in São Paulo (2002) and in Goiânia (2004) that are specifically directed at training professionals who work with tire repair, increasing and recycling their knowledge in order to qualify them to better perform their activities, improving the levels of tire maintenance and safety.

The Vicencio Paludo Technical Center was the first to receive certification from INMETRO, allowing retreaders to obtain certification with adequately trained professionals. Another initiative for improvement in the sector was the introduction of the first Truck-school in Brazil (2004), so that the teachings of the CTV could reach distant locations. The vehicle that was especially built for this end is traveling throughout Brazil and Latin America, making knowledge more accessible to all the professionals in this sector. Thus, Borrachas Vipal has managed to fulfill its philosophy that the best performance is obtained with the following sum: products, services and highly trained professionals.
